The Samaritans of RI remains the state's most trusted name in suicide prevention. Filling the void when family, friends and professional not available, our services help improve access to care and empower Rhode Islanders to help themselves, their families and peers. All calls to our hotline are anonymous. The Samaritans provides free care without regard to market share or 3rd party reimbursements. No citizen of RI is “left behind” because of an inability to pay.

Fundraising & Administrative Percentage 11%

We are Rhode Islanders helping Rhode Islanders. One hundred percent - 100% - of all funding to The Samaritans of RI supports our local, nonprofit organization and the local economy. Our board members and volunteers are comprised of local residents and students who live, work, study and volunteer in our state in support of The Samaritans RI's local suicide prevention efforts.
