For 25 years, AIDS Project RI has been a statewide leader in helping people living with HIV/AIDS have the best possible quality of life. AIDS Project RI also works to prevent the transmission of HIV.  In addition to counseling and case management, AIDS Project RI provides a drop-in center that offers a warm meal, food supplements, a food pantry, nutritional counseling, and more.  AIDS Project RI also provides help with dental issues, health insurance continuation, transportation assistance, and emergency assistance to pay rent, purchase medications, and prevent utility shutoffs.
As part of non-profit Family Service of RI, AIDS Project RI clients also have access to a wide range of other services that they or family members may need.  These include specialized counseling for crime victims and victims of other types of violent events, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric services, and much more.
