A Shared Purpose

The Childhood Lead Action Project. The Fund and its 24 member agencies share a common purpose: to create fairness and opportunity for all Rhode Islanders.

If you ever thought: “This is just not right; someone should do something…” you’re a kindred spirit with the Fund’s agencies. Most of them were started by people who thought exactly that, and then did something about it.

The Fund’s agencies:

Advocate
for the “voiceless” and the powerless
Educate
to change people’s lives
Create
programs to improve our community

We help our neighbors:

their limitations and their fears
Become
the best they can possibly be

And we

Welcome
your involvement in our work.

If you—and people like you—don’t take action, it’s not a true community.

It’s just a bunch of people who happen to live near each other.

Together we can change their world!
